A friendly family in Geneva, Switzerland are looking for a live-in Nanny to look after their two children 3 year old and a 1 month old baby. The family have a maternity nurse for first 5/6 months so you would only look after the 3 year old until October. From there onwards you would have sole charge of both children. The 3 year old attends nursery in the mornings, although this will break for Summer. Their ideal nanny is a confident driver, easy-going, kind and caring, but also firm when needed and someone who can set boundaries. Their 3 year old has lots of energy so they are looking for someone who is patient and loving. This is a live-in role so they need someone who is comfortable living with the family. The family lives 10 minutes from Geneva although during the weekend you are allowed to use their flat in Geneva to explore the city. The flat is also used by another nanny who works for the families relative. The family travels regularly (mainly in Europe) and the would like a nanny to travel with them. No housekeeping is required as they have housekeepers, although they would like you to over see everything to make sure things are in order and done correctly (what needs ironing, washing, ordering etc). Also it would be nice if you would sometimes cook for the children although not everyday. You will work 5.5 days a week. Although you have your own room they want someone who has some flexibility to be on call overnight. Your accommodation is a double bedroom and bathroom. It would be a bonus if you speak Italian, although this is not mandatory. The family want someone who will stay with them longterm.
