He is naturally incredibly inquisitive therefore mum and dad are looking for a nanny who is keen to nurture his curiosity and develop his understanding with learning through play. He settled into a sleep routine from an early age which means he is very independent at bed time and consistently sleeps from 7pm-7.30am. He loves his food which has been a joy for his parents to watch and makes meal times quite straightforward. Nutrition is important to the family so they mainly stick to organic produce and aim for a balanced diet as much as possible. They are looking for a confident nanny with plenty of energy and enthusiasm and great organisation skills. Honesty is also very important to them. Mistakes are expected and the ability to be transparent is crucial to ensure they are resolved. Flexibility is also important to to assist with babysitting where required. A lovely family in Palace Riverside (SW6) are looking for a proactive and easygoing nanny to look after their 3 month old (in July) son. They also have 2 older boys who are 8 and 10 years old, so someone who would also take an interest in the boys would be great. They currently have a nanny/housekeeper so require someone who works well in a team and is happy to help out where needed. The ideal nanny would be energetic, easy going, bubbly, flexible, extremely hygienic and tidy and someone who is routine orientated and would like to become part of the family. Your typical day will be to do all nursery duties, introducing food and weaning to the baby, taking the baby to activities and out for walks in his pram, assisting the other nanny if she requires help with anything. They would like someone who can start at the end of June to get to know the family and go away at the beginning of July with them to France for 6/7 weeks. This lovely family of four are relocating from the US in May for the summer before moving to Geneva, Switzerland. At that time if someone is interested in relocating and becoming permanent it is a possibility, but not a requirement for the temporary need. A sole charge position, looking after two year old twins. Currently children are in nursery half-day and have had the same nanny for two years. Family will be moving from the US to Switzerland, and are staying in the UK over the summer. One of the twins is sociable and extroverted and the other is quite reserved and quiet. The 1yr old is extroverted, outgoing, easygoing, sociable and warms to people quickly. All three children are very loving. The twins attend nursery 5 days a week and the 1yr old attends 2 days a week. Their ideal nanny will be someone who can work as part of a team, calm, organised, have autonomy and be able to take initiative when it comes to the children and planning activities and play dates. They would really like someone who is comfortable with having routine and structure. Your typical day will be to give the children breakfast, get their bags and snacks packed, get them dressed and ready for the day, do the school drop off (twins 5 days and 1yr old 2 days a week), go home to catch up on light housekeeping and do admin duties if 1yr old at nursery (toy and wardrobe management, coordinate and get things packed if any trips coming up, communicating with housekeeper about things that need to be done, organising play dates) give lunch if he is not, take to activities or to the park, pick up children from nursery, take to any play dates or activities they have, have them home in time for dinner. Baby is 8 weeks old and parents are hoping to find someone who would be able to help for a day and a night per week for a month with the possibility of extending. They would like someone who would be supportive and not critical- someone who is happy to help and who would help during the day- duties would include sterilising the bottles, washing and organising the baby’s clothes, giving the baby a bath before bedtime and generally just supporting Mum’s needs! They are ideally looking for a live out, but would be open to live in nanny. At home they have a newborn, but also have a 5 year old who spends holidays with them and when he is around the nanny would be expected to help with both children. He is usually there for a week or 2 max. The duties are only baby related such as taking care of the baby, sterilising bottles, feeding, entertaining, researching local activities, going for walks etc. They have a staff at home who help with housekeeping and they would clean baby areas and prepare food.
